MiniTavern v1.5.4: iOS and Android now live
iOS and Android are both on the latest MiniTavern release.
iOS v1.5.3 caused a severe experience issue with streaming, so we used a forced update on iOS to keep that build from hurting users. Both platforms are now upgraded to the latest version.
Android version notes in the store are only shown in abbreviated form with each update, so this page has a fuller write-up — and Discord members can preview it here too.
We read Google Play feedback one by one and put it on the roadmap. Thank you for the reports.
Major fixes and user feedback
- Fixed an issue where chatting became unavailable when streaming responses were enabled.
- Thanks to user ユ* for the report on character-card history export failing. That is fixed. You can export the character card and history by tapping the action button on the far right at the bottom of the latest AI reply. Importing on other devices works again.

- Added a special post-login welcome toast for subscribed members.
- Optimized preview-card information after importing a character card.

- Fixed a usability issue where the third character card could not be deleted after exporting three cards.

- Optimized UI issues caused by overly long text in several areas.
Bug fixes
- Fixed a lag that triggered a black screen when opening the settings page.
iOS streaming and compensation
On iOS v1.5.3, streaming could make some model requests take too long and fail, so messages looked swallowed. We are arranging compensation for paying users affected by this. If this happened to you, contact us on Discord to claim.

Yes. Chatting with streaming enabled is fixed in this build.
Q3: How do I export character-card history now?
On the latest AI reply, tap the action button on the far right at the bottom of the message. That exports the character card and history. Import on another device should work again.
Q4: I lost messages on iOS streaming. Can I get compensation?
